WTRC plans and convenes subject matter expert (SME) topical discussions on issues of high interest to its members. These online sessions feature presentations and Q&A panels that include experienced agency practitioners, leading researchers, and industry experts.
During online sessions held February 2 and February 4, 2026, SME presenters shared challenges, successes and best practices related to highly modified (HiMod) asphalt. Day 1 focused on binders and mix design, and day 2 focused on construction.
